So I went to lunch knowing that Sua was going to announce a commitment today around 11:30.

I get back and see an e-mail stating that Michigan got another recruit.

My heart starts racing and I check scout.com

Biggest let down EVER!!!!

not that I actually though Sua would commit to UM (especially after he canceled his visit) but still... highly disappointed none the less.

This waste of a scholarship makes absolutely NO SENSE!!! Long Snapper is a position you have a walk on for to earn a scholarship. not to give one right off the bat!!

Well given Hoke's track record of recruiting over the past two years I'm certainly not going to question his decisions but I tend to agree wholeheartedly with you Charlotte. I have always been under the impression that LS is a walk-on type position. I was very surprised to see a long snapper given a scholarship. I think they may have more uses in mind for this kid.

Welcome to a new era. Now the question is Who is better the guy we just offered or the guy we lost to MSU because they offered a scholarship? I would hate to think we could have had a better player.

It was a position of need. I hate to bring back bad memories but 2008 after Molk went down?

Coach Hoke knows what he is doing.
