Indianapolis has failed us...

Word is that Indianapolis will not be putting in a bid to host initial BCS games. The "experts" are saying it was our best chance to get a game in B1G country. Detroit is pretty much the only hope now. No idea why Indy pulled this crap since the city is built for hosting these type of events.

I am very disappointed in this decision too!

If Detroit is our only hope we are in serious trouble. Despite the extreme success of the Superbowl, World Series, Final Four, Major League All-Star game, College Hockey's Frozen Four, etc. Detroit gets a bad rap. I can't see any other major school in the land with a remote possibility of playing in a BCS championship game saying that they approve of the possibility of sending their student-athletes there and they would be followed by a portion of the student-body. I love Detroit but it is a victim of bad PR.
