OT: Eggnog recipe

just curious if any of you make eggnog during the holidays. My wife and I always put together a batch each year but today I saw a recipe on yahoo that called for rum. I've always only put whiskey and brandy in mine. Has anyone else ever had it with rum?

Any eggnog or other holiday recipes anybody would like to share?

I always put in Brandy and Rum. Always called it a Tom and Jerry.

I don't know what it is but egg nog scares the shit out of me. I have no desire to even try it.
