| For once a DB from Cass Tech that isn't in the same height bracket as a "little person" (trying to keep it PC)

| At what point do we just have a open invitation for Cass Tech players to play for us? There can't be many seniors left on their team that does not have an offer from us. | |

| This could be a "pipeline" offer, or there's something going on with the current Safeties. Especially with the news that Norfleet was practicing at Safety during bowl practice.

| Well I think they are looking to replace Conley. At least that is my guess. Still a lot of Cass Tech guys hold offers from Michigan. | |

I'm with 'ya, Sandy---my interest is piqued, too. (OK, OK, nitty,nitty picky...) But your basic point's well taken. Seems we've had to travel to my current resident state of Maryland to get any corners over (or even at) 6'. And against today's tall, high-vertical receivers... Makes me think back on our game at Penn State in 1999. (The 31-27 victory when Tom Brady "played hurt" prior to coming back in to throw a TD bomb...remember?) PSU's four DBs were---get this---5-10, 5-9, 5-9 and 5-7!!!! Cripes, when 6-4 Tai Streets (who also played hoops for us!) saw that in the program, his eyes must have gotten bigger than Jupiter... | |
