We have received 2 verbals today. This is known.

I have seen or heard from 3 different places that we have 2, 3, and 4 more schollies to give, depending on attrition.

I thought that, as of the moment of this post, which is after the committments today, we have 3 more and more than likely a 4th by some sort of attrition. Actually, that would be very little attrition.

What sayeth all of you?

2, 3, 4, all we want so we can fight the SEC MFers?

I believe it is four if no one else leaves...IMHO the next possible to leave is Lewan.

I'm still holding out saying that Taylor comes back. If he dominates Conley he may go and I'd be fine with that. I just don't think that will happen, although the draft class is very weak this year so we'll see.

I'm already on record as saying that he will be back, although I have been wrong before (I admit it when it happens). However when I'm not, I'll remind everyone here.

Sam Webb said 7 schollies to give last week in the DetNews, just before the two commits. So that leaves us with 5.

Don't ask me to explain the math, though, as we have 24 now!

Lewan is a goner.

You're better off giving into that now. That way when it happens, you aren't super disappointed. Also, if he does stay, then you can be ultra-excited.

If he leaves I won't be shocked or dissappointed. People can say that it was known for a long time that he was leaving but oh well. I personally don't think he'll go pro unless he dominates in the bowl game, if he goes pro Michigan will survive. I'd put the odds of him coming back at 65/35 right now BEFORE THE GAME. if he dominates Clowney I'll put the odds at him coming back at 51/49, but remember, Clowney is only a Sophomore.

Which is it joe? I said he'd stay. Michigan Football is not my life and doesn't affect me personally. Sure my mood on a given day mat be affected bu what is your prediction? I'm saying that Lewan will stay, it won't really impact my life if he goes. What are you saying?

The last "Big Board" draft prediction I saw was Taylor going at #7 overall to the San Diego Chargers. God knows they need some help on the OLine.

I said before that I thought he did a hell of a job against Gholston in the MSU game. Didn't hear Gholston's name hardly ever called by the play-by-play guys which means Taylor kept him in check. I have to think with all of the hype you hear that Clowney is in fact a better end than Gholston. That said, my prediction is not "if" based. If he has a good game or not, he's coming back. (crossing fingers)

Taking my kids to see santa this weekend at the mall. I'll ask santa for one more year of Taylor.

I guess I need to clarify, he's coming back IMHO. It's almost a certainty if he struggles against that Clomn(ey) guy from South Carolina. If Lewan does well in the bowl game it opens up more room for doubt but I still think he'll come back. I just used percentages to give my confidence in each scenario.

If he goes I wilol feel good for him , hope he was prepared right, and make Michigan proud. He done all he could for MIchigan hope he gets his degree and continues to shine in the pros, Good luck Taylor, remmember your roots.

We're good either way. First rounders are a good thing for the program. Jake Long has been a favorite of many, including Lewan. Now Lewan is looking at being a first rounder. That will have more linemen coming to Michigan. Kids will dream of being the left tackle for Michigan.

Isn't Taylor on-track for his degree? Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he RS a year meaning that if he wants to go now he could (meaning that he has enough credits to graduate anyway)?

Yes, the story I read said he will graduate in May.

That's the only reason that I leave it as a chance he goes. Still, you can always delay graduation and take "Ball-room dancing" like an ohio QB did...
