The way our young men are gelling, working in cohesion, implementing coach B's game plans, and flat-out playing---this may sound rash, Willie, but damnit, I wish the NCAA tournament started tomorrow!!!

I have been watching Michigan basketball since Bill Buntin was a soph, and Cazzie Russell was a hotshot on the freshmen team. I have enjoyed many of those teams over the years from that squad to Henry Wilmore's team, Phil Hubbard, Ricky, Campy and all the way up to Stu and Zach. This year's team will define itself in Big Ten play, but boy are they fun to watch!

Geepers, Shoes, how old 'ya gettin'? Couldn't even think to include the names "Glen, Rumeal, Loy and Terry" in that list??? They accomplished just a wee bit more than any of those others!!!

Yes, this team is very enjoyable to watch. I feel their signature win, to date, was not the NC State game, but the Pitt game: big, physical team, with plenty of athletes (a la NCS), but on a neutral court, and after trailing well into the second half, they put on the spurt right where they needed it, executing exactly the right high-percentage tactics when needed, to pull it out.

Kansas State isn't what its then-ranking might have suggested, and NC State was facing a stiff headwind
(a.k.a. the Maize Rage of Crisler).

Lastly, Cupcake City or not the rest of the time, they put the hammar down and bludgeoned teams they should have bludgeoned.

Ahem, that definitely reeks of a C.Y.A. tactic, Shoozie!!!

I am pretty excited to see how this season plays out. This team is very well balanced. I think Stauskus, Hardaway and Burke are all capable of leading the team in scoring on any given night. Burke is so good at not turning the ball over. Mitch is a double-double threat every night. I even some some nice things out of Max yesterday.

The B1G will be tough but I think Michigan has a shot to win on the road everywhere but IU. I think Ohio is overrated and MSU has not impressed at all.
