| Minny fans already asking for the University to make a run at Shaka Smart.
Although I think if Shaka goes anywhere that it would be UCLA since Howland was recently fired as well. _________________ Sometimes people standing on third base think they hit a triple, but they didn't - Jim Harbaugh

'shoes actually most of the B1G has owned him. I read that he was 44-62 in B1G play and never finished higher than 6th. Also, FYI, Minnesota's AD Norwood Teague came to Minnesota from Virginia Commonwealth and it has been speculated almost since his arrival that he would eventually bring Shaka Smart to Minnesota. Again though, Shaka may have his sights on a bigger program, like UCLA. _________________ Sometimes people standing on third base think they hit a triple, but they didn't - Jim Harbaugh

| UCLA BB coach is like being ND Football Coach.
Under the microscope all the time. Meddling boosters too.
Shaka may not wanna screw with all that _________________ "What the HELL's going on out here?"

| No one will win constantly at Minn. however, you can win at UCLA. Where do you think it would be easier to recruit? | |

| Oh absolutely fish.
I guess it depends on whether you want a possible 5 years of gut wrenching work or 25 years of glorified work by turning Minnesota around.?.?
I suppose you could try to win 1 NC then go to a Minnesota or something like that. _________________ "What the HELL's going on out here?"

| I don't think Minnesota is a bad job. It should be a lot easier to win in basketball than football there. There is a lot of HS talent in the state, it should be easy to get a core to win with. Plus you get all of those BTN $$$.

| What shoes said. There is a lot of talent in Minnesota, they need to get a coach who can keep that talent home. _________________ | |
