| Kind of a cool story bro type of topic but this weekend I took my girlfriend of 11 years, who is also a 3rd year medical student at Michigan to Mackinaw to propose. The weather held up for the most part (except for the fog) and allowed me to ask her without any rain which was forecasted. She is an avid Michigan sports fan and even being in medical school, finds time to make it to every home football game and most home basketball games. | |

| congrats man! remember though, always treat a girl that says she loves sports (especially UM) like a spy until she can demonstrate knowledge of the current roster and history of the team and of course her ability to pick a chicken wing bone clean. all kidding aside, congratulations. FYI I'm not picky so I won't be requiring a vegan plate at the wedding

| Thanks guys, yeah since we started dating going into 8th grade so thats why I've waited so long to ask. Trust me she is a huge sports fan, was before I started dating her. On a date, it will probably be in June of 2015 since that will be her only month off between the end of medical school and the start of residency. | |
