Check it out.
On Hoke:
"I knew he'd be a good head coach," Harris, now a linebacker with the New York Jets, said during an interview with WBBL-FM in Grand Rapids this week. "When you saw him back then, he was always very vocal, very hands on, very animated on the field and in the classroom."
on recruiting:
"It's Michigan, it kind of recruits itself," Harris said. "Everybody knows what Michigan football is supposed to look like. And when we had those couple years with that other guy as the head coach, nobody really accepted that style of play from him.
"So when (Hoke) came back, he brought back that old style and high school players knew that. And they wanted to come back to Michigan. Michigan has the greatest tradition in college football, and you'd be a fool not to want to go to Michigan and play."
Prediction:
'I'll say 10-2 (this season)," Harris concluded. "I think they're one year away from being that dominant national-championship contender. "
