Wow. That is absolute garbage.
1. He was down the second his knee hits at :16.
2. Multiple whistles blow at :15.
3. Wisconsin is lined up at :13.
4. ASU defensive lineman goes into the fetal position on the ball at :12.
5. The ref finally gets the player to get up at :06.
6. The ball is finally "spotted" at :02, which is less time needed to spike the ball. It was never actually spotted, though (at least I don't think so, consider the ref had his hand up.)
One of two things SHOULD have happened...
1. Stop the clock and review the fumble.
or
2. Flag ASU for defensive delay of game.
...neither happened. Wisconsin got screwed. You can't even find anything about it on ESPN.com, though. Can you imagine if this happened to an SEC team?
