Especially in 2nd half, especially on that 4th down call? That 4th down call was pathetic BTW. Oh and why on 4th & 3 on the 17 with 5mins left, why kick FG? Have had trouble moving ball all 2nd half, go for it. Still needed a TD to win anyway, WTF????  Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

OK I feel better after ranting!!!

As always, GO BLUE!!!!

I seriously think MSU has the best defense of any college team of the past 25 years

boo: you took the words out of my mind. Apparently the Stanford head coach calls the offensive plays. What a completely inept game plan. Yes, we have seen this so many times the last couple of years at UM with the Borgas stubbornness, especially with Toussiant. And, as far as I can determine, there are no staff changes contemplated in the next year. MSU is downright scary at this point!! And Michigan plays at East Lansing again next year. With next year's schedule and Hoke's record on the road, Michigan's chances for return to even mediocrity seem rather remote.

I always figured you were a MSU fan, since you only post condescending things about Michigan, but this confirms it for me.

2001 Miami and 2011 Alabama are light years above any other defense in the past 15 years.

Miami's defense had 11 defensive players drafted in the first round (Including Ed Reed, Phillip Buchanon, Jonathon Vilma, Vince Wilfork, Antrelle Rolle, D.J.Williams, and Sean Taylor).

Alabama gave up a ridiculous 8.3 points per game against SEC competition and included studs like Mark Barron, Dre Kirkpatrick, Dont'a Hightower, Courtney Upshaw, and Dee Milner.

Using the word "Seriously" implies that he was being literal. It is a stupid statement because there have been much better defenses.

For all of us that complained about the Michigan offense, we were told that it can work and everyone always cited Stanford and Alabama (as opposed to the other 85 teams with better offenses than ours), as what we aspired to.

The problem is I don't think the rest of college football (or the rest of the Big 10) is willing to go back with us to the 1990s so that our team can look like it did when some of us were growing up.

What a dumb ass response... Yeah, giving credit where credit is due, makes him a State fan.

Michigan State's defense is almost as good as those two teams, and guess what? They won't be sending 11 players into the first round. They will be sending ONE.

Dwood , NOPE I don't read it.

I am negative becuase right now this program is not moving in the direction I believe it should be. Tell me have i been missing something. Has the line got better, has the QB all of a sudden become another Brady, is the running game picking up 3 a try. Is the defense making teams go 3 and out 65% of the time. The answer to all are NO! so tell me woody why should I be positive.

this staff's poor performance is causing the fan base to turn on itself. These frustrations are causing us to implode from the inside a la the crack epidemic of the inner city neigborhoods of the late 80s/early 90s.

ha ha okay maybe not that bad but the approval ratings for the staff on this forum (and many others) is nowhere near its levels of March of 2012. Just saying.

Brady needs to have some balls and separate from his friend and his OL coach.

borges, funk get walking papers.

hire a new QB coach.

hire a new OC.

hire a new O line coach.

keep mattison, if anything put mallory on double-secret probation. the secondary play got worse as the year went on.

something tells me that manning may be getting some looks by other schools real soon. remember, he is our east coach recruiter. Not just the northeast, not just the southeast but the ENTIRE east coast is his region. His experience there, plus the fact that IMO in two years our LBs will be the absolute beasts of the team he'll be getting looks from every program in the CFB and probably some NFL looks.
