| as if they weren't depleted/sorry enough, the O$U secondary another hit. Vonn Bell is out due to surgery on a sprained MCL.
They lost Roby and Shazier and their LB corps is just terrible. I still laugh every time the O$U homer at the bar tells me that they will be ok with losing Shazier. I make sure and hurt him by telling him we ripped away the best 2013 LBs in their state (McCray and Gedeon) and they were stuck with two bums Worley and Johnson (who haven't panned out).
BTW McCray is probably getting the biggest praise of all from Mattison so far this spring. Nice to know the depth is there.

Seriously, I don't think we're going to miss Jake as much as we think when he leaves.

Seriously, I don't think we're going to miss Jake as much as we think when he leaves. I agree in the skills department but who knows about the leadership role. I'm sure this year we are going to see someone step up and show us he is going to be the guy after Jake leaves. I've said it before and I'll say it again, UM is building something special at LB. Have to wait a year or so but I may be able to say the same thing about the DBs and 'gulp' the OL. Don't laugh.

| Wish you would have added the defensive line in that list but, alas, this is what we have to work with. I am afraid we'll be pretty damn good against the run but be killed because we can't pressure the QB.
I hope Clark and Ojemudia and Taco get themselves rushing harder from the edges! We need push from out there.

I will be watching to see how Strobel, Godin and Wormley progress this year. On the Weak side Ojemudia is our ONLY guy. sigh
