If Michigan doesn't cover, I'll be upset. I want to see the starting defense pitch a shutout.

Well, I have a burrito bet that UM puts up at least 50 points on App St. I based my number on them putting 59 on CMU last season in the opener. Hope I'm right.

Two things....

1) hanging 50 pts on App St would be a great start to getting to 51 TDs on the season.

2) you bet way too many burritos my man. you need help. Razz

Well, there is a breakfast burrito joint across the street from work. We usually all get one on Friday mornings. We call it Fat Kid Friday. So if I can get someone else to pay for it, that is a win win. LOL

I'm sticking with my 38-0 pick. Our DL will manhandle their undersized (though experienced) OL, and if they occasionally get to the second level, and our linebackers---well, any questions? Jabrill might get too many positive headlines (for his own good) playing nickel and corner in this one. Wherever/whenever he plays, I all but book Countess to add to his career INT total.

But I can't see 50 points. In a new system, the first game, etc., I expect Devin & Co. will need a series or two to get it in gear...and if we do go up four TDs, I have to believe Brady and Nuss want to see Shane in there...as well as get all our RBs and deep WR corps a chance in game conditions...after all, Nuss has said "we'll use mutiple backs"...

Let me add this caveat, though: if we don't pitch the shutout I predict, and which 'hail' wants to see, all---I mean all---of Appy's points will come in garbage time, and be meaningless.

I can't see a shut out. Our recent history first spread teams has not been good. Keep it under 10 and I will be happy.

1st team shutout. I think once Michigan start pulling their punches, Appy could score.

Want the first team OL in there as long as possible... this is the unit that will define our season... they need all the reps as a unit in game conditions that they can get
