It's probably one of those stories where his younger sister was a toddler and couldn't pronounce his real name (Vidauntae), and just called him Taco.

Hoke is doing an awesome job with recruits but we need to see some skill position guys on this list!! I am hoping we can land a stud RB to run behind the great wall of china Hoke has recruited.

Coaches are working hard on Laquan Treadwell (like a 6-5 4* WR) and Ty Isaac (big time running back, rated top 20 overall prospect). I also am one to think that there's a slim chance that Jourdan Lewis, who committed yesterday as a CB, may end up playing in the slot. Check out his tape, he could go either way.

I saw the Lewis film after seeing your post. It will be interesting to see how they use him. I agree with you, the kid has moves and good hands. Maybe we will see him go both ways ala Woodson.

I don't doubt he would still be interested in UM. Why not? That's where he wanted to go originally .

I'd love to have him - the kid had some AMAZING raw talent - but I think he'll ever be admitted, fair or not.

I agree Admin. UM doesn't take juco transfers often, and I doubt they will do so in Dorsey's case. Not to mention he is sort of a RR scrw up. Not the kid, but RR's hope to slide him through admissions. One of the things I did not like about RR.

Actually, just to offer an opposing view....

RR never had the admin's support, and in turn probably meant the admissions boards' either. Maybe someone like Hoke, who undoubtedly has the support of every single person on campus, would be able to get the boards to admit someone like DD in. They see Hoke as a high-character guy, and maybe they'd think he would be able to keep an eye on this kid/others like him.

Just a thought.

I wouldn't mind to see us give the kid a shot if he has gotten his life together like it seems. He has always wanted to go to Michigan. If he is as clean to go as you hear since first trying to be admitted, I would love to see him get a shot with Hoke in charge.

Not me, we have too many other high-profile athletes on campus with whom Dorsey would come in contact with and that may jeopardize their future. Let him go to state and pick fights with Hockey players...

Agreed!!! The article I read about him wearing Michigan gear while at GRCC and wanting to come back to AA makes me want the kid to see it through. It looks like he was surrounded by trouble back home. I give the kid credit for moving north to get a way from it all. Would love to see him get a shot regardless of his talent. In fact I am not even factoring in what he could bring to the team.
