| that two sources have told him Greg Mattison's Desk was cleared out before the AD's meeting was over. What's with that, if true? Must of quit? | |

This had me puzzled as well. Perhaps Matteson does not want to be considered for a future position. It is a shame because he was a good coach IMO. | |

| Tom is a very, very solid reporter. No doubt that he has some very credible sources inside The Fort.
If true, that's too bad. I think he should've stuck around to see who the next guy will be.
That being said, Greg, don't let the door hit ya on the ass on the way out.
We don't have time for drama.

| I could see that GM could possibly be the only assistant coach offered a chance to stay, but I will not be surprised at all if that report is true. At 65, I feel this was his last gig as a coach. Regardless, best of luck to him. Go Blue!!
