| Unreal.
Of course we're nowhere near the numbers of some of the other options out there, but as I've said in the past, this site spawned from a very hungover Saturday morning after getting into it with some of the MLive trolls.
Never thought it would become what it has.
I appreciate the ability to chat with you guys on a daily basis. Thanks for stopping by.

| Thanks, Bo. And we're all glad to have you back. As you know, we were all worried there for a couple months.
That being said, I hope people enjoy some of the changes I made to the site today. I wanted a 'cleaner' look. And frankly, I hated that freaking baby blue background at the top of the page that showed if I didn't use a banner photo large enough to fill from left to right. I also like seeing the avatar of the last poster for any given topic.
Not a fan of the subject line at the top of every post within a topic, but I can't figure out how to delete. As I've said before, the free host I use for the site doesn't give me a ton of options.
If there is serious uproar about the new look, I have saved the previous version of the site and can restore. But I personally think I like this new look. Would like to hear your guys' thoughts. _________________ "I don't get sick. I don't observe major holidays. I'm a jackhammer." - Jim Harbaugh & Dwight Schrute

| It's good, as with any change there may be some initial questions until everyone gets used to it. Thanks. _________________ 'eggo denoted me a First ballot Hall of Famer! - sandyeggo_blue wrote:

| This has been a super site for all of of UM nut-jobs!! Seriously, GREAT job Admin from the start. We've had some ups and downs with each other and the team, but I've enjoyed the ride!! I like the new layout and thank you again for allowing me access to this site. Go Blue!! _________________ Who's got it better than us? Nooooooooobody!!!

| Admin, the site has been a god-send after mlive. I can stand nothing about mlive in general, but the fan forum...ugh! The new style will take some getting used to for me, but that's true with anything new for this old-timer. A million kudos. | |

This place has been a great place to talk sports. You made it possible and the other great posters make it worthwhile.

| More kudos for the new look and opportunity to talk and read (mostly) Michigan sports. The apparent admiration of many posters for UM is obvious. The new format will take some "getting used to" but that happens with change for many of us. All in all, I think it will work out very well.
One word of caution, however. Now that we apparently have the answer to our desires in Jim Harbaugh, please be patient. Although historically he has had early success in his coaching career, at UM he will have certain problems early on. Maybe UM might not win the B1G in his first year, maybe O$U and MSU will still be strong next year (although I still hope UM can win one or BOTH), and maybe it will take some more coaching and playing experience to develop a strong QB. But I do foresee great improvement on the playing field in Ann Arbor starting next August 27 and continuing strong thereafter. Let's be optimistically patient and good things will happen. GO BLUE + 25 We need to keep in mind that there is a new culture on its way to AA right now; not only for JH but also the coaches and players. The "clap and pat them on the butt" days are gone!!! As I have said in other posts, this team does have talent, but it is going to take some work and I have faith that JH and the staff and players will get there, but not in 2015. Hopefully one of the first objectives is to get a new strength coach to AA and get them stronger. IMHO that was one of the main issues with the OL the past couple of years. Anyway, I am glad the search us over, HUGE kudos' to AD Hackett and all involved, and WELCOME HOME JIM AND FAMILY!!!Go Blue!! | |

| Nah, I'm very aware of how bad the organization was prior to drafting Toews and Kaner.
Thankfully, I didn't get into hockey until 2010. The Winter Olympics that year got me really into the sport (US vs Canada). Got lucky and fell ass backwards into a Stanley Cup my first season being a fan. _________________ "I don't get sick. I don't observe major holidays. | The Blackhawks took a huge step forward when Scotty Bowman joined the organization. He is the genius of all geniuses in hockey matters.
