OT: Pats Butler Pick

is it me or was that the same play and pick as the two pt conversion during the O$U vs UM game from 2013?

Similar pick play that every team runs on the goal line.

OK, it's 2nd and Goal from the 1 with 20+ seconds left.  You have a timeout remaining. Beast Mode has been running over defenders all day.  Why throw a pass?  Hand the ball off to Mershawn, get a TD, play defense for 20 seconds, win the Superbowl.  Is that a difficult concept to grasp?  Mind you, I' happy that Tommy got his 4th ring but come on.

You could say that New England "lucked" into the chamoionship this year due to that dumb play, but you can also say Seattle "lucked" into being in that position by that catch 2 plays previously.  Either way the OC/Carroll should be fired.
