Man you can't let the other team shoot 56% while you shoot 455, maybe your not shooting well but JC play some defense , I mean that all about effort . This was the time Irvin was suppose to take over, he's failed he has actually decline with the spotlight on him not gotten better, I doubt he ever leaves early, and probably end his career playing in the NBA overseas. Free throws are atrocious. This team needs to improve in so many ways. Yes they are young, but this is late in the season and some of these kids are getting more PT than they ever thought they would and should be, or thought they would. Defensively though they are just not getting it done, to many dribble drive scoring.

Zak Irvin had the kind of 2nd half you expect him to have caught fire, and brought his team back in it . They had some chances that they let get away, Layup wise. 7 straight trips down the floor with nothing hurt them early on ,but they were there with a chance at the end, just goes to show little bit better defensive effort,and maybe they steal one in IU. Its obvious that this team will not be in the NCAA tourney talk , but with a game or 2 that they should not win and Bam could be in the NIT, right now I doubt they make either.I know some of you don't like the truth, but it needs to be told. Honestly I think they could have stolen a couple of game here and there. Belien has given them the chance.

We almost never win in Bloomington even when we have better personnel-which we did not today.

That was a fun game. We could only get student tickets, because it was sold out. Even scalpers didn't have anything. So we are in the student section, a couple dudes in their mid-40s wearing UM shirts. I will say that the students were great. Polite and funny.

It was on my stadium bucket list. One of the ushers said they are going to close it as soon as the season is over to update and add luxury boxes. Kind of makes me sad.
