and it seems like a fairly routine surgery so I'd expect Spike to be 100% by the start of the season.
speaking of playing hurt... a bit OT but did you guys read that Coleman rushed for all those yards for IU with a broken bone in his foot.

Yet another reason to be amazed that Michigan's season didn't turn into a complete train wreck. Unexpected attrition, two best players out and another key guy playing through an injury. Still got 8 wins in a strong conference. Plenty of reason to be optimistic about next year.
