He's been doing that for a while. Incidentally I live about 8 miles East of the Big House and I've been seeing an absolute ton of Georgia license plates the last 3 years. I mean not a literal ton of course but a significant amount of out of state plates.

Lots of commits over the last few days, so much so that I won't link them all. However Michigan recruiting is back in the top 10.

The Stephen Herron sucks. have to say that I saw it coming for a while. oh well. Hinton obviously helps but I have really high hopes for Ojabo so I think UM will be just fine.

Just a question of whether he was accepted to Stanford.

He was.

He's gone.

4*Mike Morris flips from FSU to Michigan. Word is that he reminds people of Carlo Kemp. 6'5", 260....

Giles Jackson on top of Eric Gray is an embarrassment of riches for this class. Couldn't be happier.

**me beating a dead horse** - Still lacking in the O line department. I like Rumler and I like Carpenter so guard should be set. I haven't seen enough film on Trente Jones yet so I'll reserve judgment. I am not impressed in the slightest with Barnhardt. I don't care what Treiu's article says, I was there too, he was garbage.

By the way Josh Priebe from Edwardsburg is being touted as an elite D1 recruit, I don't see it. He will probably land at ND because I've heard that his father works in the sports medicine department there but I can't verify that. Regardless, IMO Priebe is MAC level talent at best at this point. So to say that Barnhardt lined up nicely with him is both inaccurate (because he didn't) and overblown.

Let's put it this way, Mattison has a home on Eagle Lake and lives part time in Edwardsburg. Do you really think UM would let an elite D1 talent get out directly from under their noses. Doubt it.

Back to UM recruiting, Brown and Dobbs right out from under us and missing on high choice targets like Neal is killing us and it's been the same thing over and over again for the past decade but you all know how I feel so I digress.

Three years of film has already spoken for time. Kid is the real deal. He's a man among boys even at the elite gatherings.

No question he starts out of the gate.

HUGE win on several levels. Now let's see if Cine is really interested in becoming a monster tandem or not.

Flip Karlaftis and maybe Harrison really starts thinking.

Again back to my dead horse... D recruitment is stellar but where are our OTs?????

I agree with all of that. I think dwoody's comment was that verbal commitments are not binding and Dax will/can change his mind.

Well Dwoody could be correct on this one. Of all of the commits during Harbaugh's tenure DaxHill is the one recruit that other schools continue to go after hardest until signing day. A decommit or flip is never out of the question and schools will be trying their hardest but the interview I heard from his parents bodes REALLY REALLY well for Michigan.

"... If you took the football part out of the equation, what does the university offer? Not only for four years, but forty-four years..." - the Hills

Yes sir. Dwoody is quite negative about all verbals. Not Hill in particular.

A verbal to me is a fish on the line...not a catch until it's in the boat! Also, time will tell on talent...Kyle Kalis, anyone?

For all of his talent in HS Kyle kalis was still considered raw. His size and explosiveness was his biggest draw. It was widely agreed upon that he would need to coached up to go to the next level. He could never seem to grasp blocking assignments. Probably partly not his fault because of all of the schematic changes during his time in AA.

Not saying that Dax is ready to into the NFL now but comparing the two is apples to oranges.
