The description of the award and the nominees on the list makes it sound as if the nomination open to any position coach on the staff.
IMO the best position/assistant coach on the team this year has been Baxter. I say that despite the sparty gaff that cost us the game and the two returned punts in the last three games.
the special teams turnaround he has facilitated this year is impressive.
