Yea i saw that when i was looking to go to the AF game being ex Airforce. With gas hitting 4.00 dollars a gallon and being 300+ mile away it don't look promising I'll make that game. Last year when I seen it on the scheldule I was pretty sure we were gonna make it my son will be disappointed

Yep. The cost of gas is going to start affecting every single thing I do anymore, unfortunately.

Everything is delivered to stores, the cost of gas rising affects the amount of money the whole-salers charge the retailers, you're naive if you don't think that the retailers won't pass that extra expense on to us.

Yep, it's gonna get ugly folks.

I'm aware of this all too well.

Basically, for me, it's going to come down to 2 options:

1) say screw it and have a blast this summer, attending my standard 3-5 concerts and 10-20 Cubbies games...plus all the outdoor drinking in the sun, etc.

Or

2) save that money for fall Saturday's following the football team.

Perhaps I'll just do two shows (Roger Waters performing The Wall at Wrigley, and my annual Jimmy Buffett show) and a couple cubs games. Hopefully that will leave me with some funds for football.

The Wall at Wrigley sounds awesome, even if Waters is over the hill now. Plus, how can you not love the Cubs? Pretty sure that you have to go to the concert, plus I also suggest a few Cubs games. Just go the economy route that way you can go to every UM game.

Cool
