Kugler was rated higher than him coming out of high school. After a year with Drevno and he's ready.

Playing bad-cop I don't think so. Sure, we'd rather have him come to Michigan but let's be honsest. Even if by some miracle he was accepted into Michigan's MBA program he wouldn't be able to pass even a portion of the program. The MBA program is intense, really intense. So i playing football at Michigan. You can't do both. So while I would have preferred that he picked Michigan UCLA was the correct choice. Granted, UCLA is no joke either but it isn't Michigan's MBA program. Plus you have the glitz and glamor of LA versus the small town (not really small but compared to a Metropolis) feel of Ann Arbor. Raulerson is using his talents at football to attain a great education. He IS the example of a student-athlete.

Oh well.

My comment was a riff on the third Indiana Jones movie where the villain had to choose the chalice (holy grail) if he got it right he got everlasting life, if he got it wrong he turned to dust. As the old Knights Templar said: watching the guy crumble and turn to dust: "he chose .....poorly."

I kind of realized that (granted I forgot exactly which movie it was from at the time, thank you for reminding me) but I figured I'd expand on it. I think every Michigan fan (ht follows these things) is dissappointed but it's not like the guy thought that Coach Harbaugh is a goof as currently being depicted in the media. It.made.sense.for.him.

I'm not very knowledgeable about how grad transfers are counted towards new schollies offered to recruits. What I'm getting at is wondering if there's a chance the staff told him there wouldn't be room?

Ah, that would make sense. And if you can't get into the graduate program, you can't leverage the grad transfer rule.

As you know, the B-school is no joke. I mean the undergraduate program for the B-school is harder to get into than most other universities MBA prorams. And Raulerson was going for his MBA. I think that was it although Admin proposed a good thought. Maybe there wasn't room for him? Maybe it was some combination of both?

I'm of the unqualified opinion that Cold will slide over to Center. I forget his name but the guy who came in last year to back-up Cole william over at LT and you shouldn't notice a decrease in quality of play. Actually, he is supposed to be better. Cole has played a little at Center in the past.
