... to Northwestern, who loses to Western Michigan. What does it all mean? I don't know either!
My 2 cents, ND defense sucks! If Duke can score 38pts., MSU scoring 36 & winning in South Bend maybe not as impressive as I thought.
How good is Wisconsin? Held LSU to 14pts., but LSU only scores 13 in a 18-13 loss to Auburn tonight. BTW Miles mismanaged the clock & the refs screwed up twice. Clock at 0:00 before snap & the QB was beyond the line of scrimmage when he threw. Neither where called, thank goodness for instant replay.
So back to the Badgers, only saw 2nd half vs LSU, defense looked really good. Sparty had 325yds of offense but 4 turnovers obviously hurt them. Their run game shut down 75yds on 27 carries, avg. only 2.8yds/carry. Badgers TD drives: 5yds. & 28yds.
LSU had 3 turnovers but also scored on a pick-6.
No question Badgers will be a tough test, but their frosh QB hasn't seen a defense like Michigan's. And their defense hasn't faced an offense like Michigan. If M doesn't have TO's giving Badgers a short field to work with, & if M keeps mixing it up on off., takes what defense gives them, (and hopefully doesn't have 3 more PI calls) I see M winning comfortably, 28 or 31-10.
I guess Colorado is better than people thought after all! Won at Oregon with backup QB today. Could see them compete for Pac-12/South division title.
