| And Nick B. did a nice job here:
http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/index.ssf/2016/09/5_things_to_watch_a_big_test_f.html#incart_river_index
But I'll add a SIXTH: Win the Special Teams Battle!!
Two great things this year: (1) Under Big Bro's direction, Jay Harbaugh has done a really fine job of making it a weapon in our favor again. (2) In Jabrill, we have an ST weapon Wiscy cannot match. (Can anyone?)

| Wilton Speight is the key ... still hasn't convinced me that he can lead us to the title ... very noticeable in the Big House ,watching him live ... he has a weak arm and still can't hit the long ball ... give him great credit though for moving around the pocket and keeping plays alive ... think our defense shuts down Wisconsin easily and the offense does enough for Meechigan to win by 10 | |

| BoL7 and Shoes--- if you two have seen it (live at the 'House), I simply must take your word for it. And, like pure speed, arm strength is a skill that cannot be taught, or coached up. "Either 'ya got it, or..." (I speak from a pitcher's experience).
But WS has done an acceptable job of avoiding sacks (to a noteworthy extent), not throwing (many) interceptions, and keeping drives alive. Coming back on Colorado, down 21-7 then 28-24, stands testament to that...though beyond argument, Colorado is not Wisconsin.
I'll save my pick for Friday.
And thanks for the correction, Fish. Also---kudos to you (PSU game)...you damned near hit it on the nose! (45-10 vs. 49-10).

| Arm strength is the most overrated QB attribute. Joe Montana had a weak arm and is a hall of famer. Speight seems accurate and has above average pocket awareness. His arm is strong enough. | |

| Fish- true but it puts pressure on the QB to be highly accurate, get the ball out quickly and look off receivers. Montana was great that, so is Brady. Speight needs to improve. He is a lot lucky that he doesn't have 3 or 4 more interceptions this year. Dbacks can read his eyes and break on the ball.

I agree, but he's only made 4 starts. I think his decision making has been pretty good for the most part. And, I really like his pocket awareness.

| After he has 2 more years under Harbaugh I think he'll play on sundays.
