...deprive myself of much-needed catch-up sleep by staying up to watch the second half. (In fact, hit the POWER button on the remote and hit the rot once it became 36-0). So...can any of you more-diehard souls tell me:

(1) How much did any of our regulars play in the second half?

(2) Any injuries you noted? (As Shoes noted in another thread, we cannot afford any more O-Line losses...so it was great to see J B-B return after that nick-up/hiccup on the second play of the game)

Mike,

Not sure what the count was, but a ton of back-ups played on both sides of the ball through-out the second half. I didn't note any more injuries.

We alternated O'Korn and Morris every other possession it seemed like but very few pass plays were called. Our walk-on FB got a TD and had a second nice run. Great to see so many guys play after all of the work they do in practice.

Good point about the scrubs, Shoes---they work as hard as anyone in practice, though admittedly they don't produce the results the uber-talented regulars do.

Another observation---I've always been intrigued, in a positive way, about our DE Vidauntee "Taco" Charlton. He's been hyped as NFL talent, tall, athletic and fast.  But too often, prior to yesterday, he seemed to be watching the play in the middle...to these macularly-degenerate eyes anyhow (no, not really).  Which is why it was so good to see him flat-out bring it last night...and when the game was still scoreless in that tropical monsoon. Two sacks, another tackle for loss, all solo, in the first two Rutgers series!  Keep it up, Mr. Charlton---who says tacos get soggy and gooey in the rain???

O'Korn had a TD pass. I think Morris only threw one pass that bounced, looked like a pink 6 until it was reviewed. The backup defense was flat out dominant
