Always liked him, Shoes. Of course my two fondest memories of him are both from the 1971 OSU game-- where Woody Hayes failed in his efforts to qualify for the 1972 Olympic javelin team.

Fritz dove for a first down on 4th down, then threw the block that sprang Billy Taylor for the winning TD.

I was in the north (opposite) endzone, from whence most sophomore undergrads watched games, but I could see BT's run clearly.

I like Hill. Mgoblog.com called him a TD stealer, and I agree. But, I don't care who crossed the goal line as long as UM wins.

I'm a little too young to remember Fritz. But I like the way we run the fullback.

TD stealer? I just think it's a reward for being the lead blocker the other 95% of the day.
