Oline is offensive

The offensive line played absolutely terrible against Iowa!! Michigan could not run the ball and Speight rarely had enough time to throw accurately. The crowning blow was them allowing the safety, which turned out to be the winning margin. Speight, when he had enough time was inconsistent and overthrew at least two possible TD's. The defense, even though they allowed no TD was spotty and never controlled #26, especially on the last drive. If Michigan had made a first down on their last possession, game over and we are happy. Oh well, the old coulda', woulda', shoulda' BS. I am deathly afraid there will be a blowout in two weeks which we won't like.
In no way am I criticizing Harbaugh, the coaching staff, or the play calling. It was execution. Sound familiar? Let's hope the Blue can regroup and get back to their former selves in the next two games and ready to play several more games thereafter. Go Blue!!!

I thought when UM lined up and ran between the tackles, they had success. Problem is, the play calling sucked. To many pitches to the outside, and to much predictable Peppers plays, and to many shots down field.

That's 2 in yrs. in a row all Michigan needed was a first down & they win game. (Sparty last yr.) This yr. 1st & 10 at own 16, 1yd run on 1st down. Peppers in as QB on 2nd down, everybody knows he's going to run, gains 1yd. Why not let him pass? Short pass to Butt, if its not there then run! I like that M tried to throw on 3rd down. Again why not use your big TE over middle.

At 10-0 M now in control, Iowa punts ball take great bounce stops at 2yd line. On 2nd down slow developing play. Blame coaches on that, can't do that at own 2. Safety now Iowa has momentum!

Still 10-8 lead at half, M fumbles 3qtr kick-off. Bad break but little things like that you can't do!

But bottom line, M still controls its own destiny!!! Very simple, beat Indiana, upset the buckeyes & win in Indy, going to playoff
