Just Bought Tickets for Iowa City!

Pretty geeked about it. I've never been to Iowa City so this is a treat.

Can't Wait!

I'll be there as well! 4 of us are leaving 8am Saturday morning, should in Iowa City by 4:30, do some tailgating then head to stadium.

Never been to Iowa, friend who is driving has been twice. Said Iowa fans are real cool & friendly.

Last time he went was few yrs ago, if i remember correctly wind chill temps where 10-20 below zero. Suppose to much warmer this weekend, mid/upper 40s in mid november I consider warm!

Imagine tailgating with a bunch of Tom Arnold's. Iowa fans, in my experience are great. I do know someone who had a terrible experience with Iowa fans though. There re of course a few bad apples in every barrel.

ALL ABOARD TO KINNICK STADIUM!
The Hawkeye Express, the passenger train that transports fans from Coralville to Kinnick Stadium, is once again available for fans traveling to Kinnick Stadium on Iowa Football game days. The Hawkeye Express is in its 13th season.
Adults can ride the train for $12, round trip, while children (12-and-under) ride for free. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the UI Ticket Office or on game day at the Hawkeye Express depot located near the boarding ramp. Media credentials are accepted as well. The trip to Kinnick Stadium is approximately 10 minutes.
Free parking is located in lots near the Comfort Suites and Coral Ridge Mall. Fans can begin boarding the train three hours prior to 11 a.m. kickoffs, and four hours prior to the start of afternoon and night games. Return trips begin at the start of the fourth period and run 90 minutes after the game.
The Hawkeye Express is owned by the Iowa Northern Railway Company and operates on the Iowa Interstate Railroad.

NCHawk, the train is real cool!! Didn't use it, train went right by where we were tailgating. We parked in a lot right off of Highway 1. Iowa fans are awesome, offered us a few beers, tailgated from 4pm till 6:30, about 20-25 min walk to stadium.

Great environment in and around stadium! we where in section 101, row 3. corner of endzone. At 10-0 stadium quieted down a little. M had all the momentum at the time, then the safety happened, went downhill from there.

Even after game Iowa fans super cool. Of course it seemed all their fans where on field! Cool scene if you're a Hawkeye fan
