Along with Lamar Jackson, Deshaun Watson, Baker Mayfield & Dede Westbrook

a lot of complaints & bitching on Twitter is that Dalvin Cook & Jake Browning not invited

And of course the Michigan haters, why is Peppers even invited?

I'm guessing Lamar or Deshaun will win.

My guess is Peppers finishes 4th, but this is great for him to be there, and great for the school.

It also helps recruiting, seeing your potential head coach at the Heisman presentation.

Congrats to Peppers, and good luck.

Well said. This is a nice honor in and of itself.

OK, I have no inside information on this and I can't claim to know Jabrill or the type of player he is but I think that he comes back to Michigan for one more season. Please note, I am not guaranteeing it but I personally think that Peppers knows that he did not play that well this year. I believe that he wants to improve his draft stock and take care of some unfinished business with ohio state. Not to mention graduate. This is my guess....

Either way I'm fine with what he decides.

No way, his draft stock is pretty high right now, projected top 15. He has to go. Football careers are short, make the money while you can, he can get a degree anytime.

I'd lay about 10 to 1 that he's gone. His stock could go down as well as up plus the insurance you can buy for injury is expensive and doesn't really cover the whole exposure for missing on a big contract.

I hate that argument.  There is a world of difference between earning a degree when you are college-age versus coming back to school years later.  Take Larry Fitzgerald's word for it.

The University of Phoenix vs. UM (or Pitt in Fitzgerald's situation- Pitt is a very good school too).

Pretty fair argument there, Shoes.

On the other hand, always-persuadable Lloyd's of London would no doubt serve him well. The fact Jabrill has never had a debilitating injury (e.g., Jeremy Clark, Grant Newsome) would work in his favor, as would his work ethic, upper-upper-echelon physical condition; I doubt their bottom-line premium would be any more than 7% (give or take) of the face value.

Still, were I a betting man, I'd be foolish to bet on his return to U-M in '17, particularly given his family situation. Blood is thicker than Gatorade...and his Mom has been a rock to him, and he wants nothing more badly than to take care of her. I'll wish nothing less than the sky for him, whatever his final decision.

I'll repeat, I am not saying that he'll stay, just that it won't shock me if he returns. We've got athletes to replace him but in all honesty I suppose I'd like for experience to come back. That and the kid is special. I won't be shocked if he leaves, I won't be surprised if he stays. Education is very important to both Jabril and his Mother. Ann Arbor is home to him now, although I have no idea of his maturity level. I still say he's leaving but only 51/49.

He finished 5th, one vote behind Westbrook.

Just to be the dick I am I'll point out that it was 1 point, not 1 vote...

Yep, you're a dick. LOL.

Here's my best Bo 2.0 impression when corrected: votes equal points so technically it was 1 vote.

Keep hoping!

But, doesn't he have two years of eligibility left?

Nope, different places receive different points, therefore one point does not necessarily equal one vote.

"Each voter identifies three selections, ranking them in order. Each first-place selection is awarded three points. Each second-place selection is awarded two points. Each third-place selection is awarded one point. Voters must make three selections and cannot duplicate a selection, else the ballot is invalid and none of the selections count."

So you admit that technically I was right and you were wrong (only semantically)?
