Talk about a person (make that family/camaraderie) out of touch with reality and perspective...

And I personally did not read any sarcasm or joviality into that article...their statements seemed genuine enough.
And they from a 38-year-old, not a teenaged kid...

Geez...

I don't know, I've witnessed some amazing things in my life. Granted, his recovery (while nowhere near complete) may have been spurred by his disdain for Michigan.

Yeah but this statement seems normal for a buckeye

"After weeks of treatment, Lawrence is now considered semi-conscious, the AP said.

This is one of my stronger areas of knowledge. Taken as a Michigan Football fan yes his statement is accurate, however as a professional no. I have no issue with that statement given the context and place where it was made, but I couldn't live with myself if I didn't say no.

Actually this isn't uncommon for a bucknut to do. Anyone remember Grant Reed?

Disclaimer: I hope he has a great recovery- but

If he had denied hating Michigan, would his family have pulled the plug?
