What say you about BBQ attendees? Your insight is always interesting.

I've been saying for a while now (with my circle of friends) that Rumler will drop this weekend. Partly hope on my part, partly writing on the wall that he'll be blue. I guess we'll see.

I'm gonna be particularly interested to see how Ekiyor's visit goes. I see shades of the D Hand recruitment happening, only thing is EE is a commit and Hand never was. Fucking Bama.

McGrone drops on Monday so don't expect to see it this weekend (although he may silent to the staff).

Steve L and Isiah are feeling good about the work put in on Quavaris Crouch (top '19 RB) but their update is $ info so I won't share that. I can say that anytime a recruit values education I tend to follow the recruitment a bit closer. I'll be keeping an eye on this kid. Plus, he's on an extended visit this weekend and I believe he'll be in A2 for 4 days total. I personally love his tape. I'd be over the moon if M eventually gets this kid.

I've seen the attendance list and there is a lot beef attending. Given that the next two classes have a LOT of trench talent I can see Michigan getting in early on a lot of good prospects. I love the Peppers' and the McCaffery's and the DPJs but for my money the kids in the trenches are the ones I love to watch commit.

**** BEEF PATTY UPDATE with a topping of RB and QB tidbits ****

Rumler (2019 4* OG)  finally dropped. Wish I could say I was a genius for calling it but the writing was on the wall.

Herron (2019 4* DE) was a pleasant surprise. Now lets get Hinton on board and it will be a phenomenal 2019 DE haul. BTW, if I had a crystal ball pick I would put Hinton at Michigan. The M ties are too much. He will be the next good kid Harbaugh plucks out of the peach state.

I hope M made enough of a move on 2018 4* DT Michael Thompson. I'm reading on several sites that they definitely did. That kid is going to be good.

2019 4* OT Logan Brown info remains good. He'll be Blue eventually.

Read that M put themselves squarely in the conversation (dare I dream the drivers seat) for  the #1 RB Q Crouch. LONG LONG way to go though. Every top program will have their chance to get in his ear and convince him to commit to them.

#1 2019 QB JT Daniels committed to USC today fresh off of his BBQ visit. OUCH. I still think M doesn't take another QB this year and I think they only have one other 2019 QB offered at this point (but don't quote me) and I still think Joe Milton will eventually turn into a game changing QB so if I was M I wouldn't wast a schollie on a 2018 QB but... Harbaugh... sooooo.... hmmm.

IMO M is solidly winning the trench recruiting. I still think they lose to O$U in "THE GAME" this year but it will be the last time for a long time. Both programs will start new QBs after this year (2018 season) but Michigan will have Peters, McCaffrey, Milton for years to come. Plus our trench recruiting will make M as competitive as they have ever been. o$u has recruited as good as ever but the tide had shifted, it's going out and it's blowing offshore. 4 ft at 9 seconds and glassy...... ebb and flow.
