| I know we started last week but this week is our Home start.
With each passing moment I'm getting charged up more and more.
Can't wait to see this defense in person.
Wanna see DPJ return a kick all the way!

| Me too. I just wish it was a 3:30 game. Noon games are to early for me. I tend to over consume during games, and noon games make me worthless by 3:30 LOL. | |

| I used to have the exact opposite problem 'fish. The 3:30 KO's while in school were fun but I'd get way too shit-faced by the time KO came around. Same thing after school while tailgating at the golf course. 3:30 leaves way too much time for drinking. Noon KO's were the perfect deal for me, get on the course at 8am. Get everything set-up, slam the first beer, warm everything up, drink the 2nd and 3rd beers while cooking. Eat, then beer #4. Let everything cool-down while drinking #5. Pack everything up and start on #6, then find a neighbor tailgate with a cool game/hot chicks. Break out the good stuff for shots with new "friends". By that time everyone is feeling good and it is 11:30 and game time. Finish the good stuff and cross the street.
3:30 it was a little different, no details just a hell of a lot more drinking and falling down. I remember the home opener in 2010 (stadium rededication game). I was living in Bay City at the time and a buddy of mine from High School who also went to Michigan couldn't go to the game so he gave me his seats. I took a neighbor of mine from Florida who had never been to a Michigan game. He was telling me how they used to tailgate at UF. Well this guy was 27 years old and weighed about 185, he was pretty ripped though. He tried to keep up with me and did pretty good until about 1:00 or so. He wasn't feeling to great so I let him stop drinking, but I did make fun of him for being a light-weight. We get to our seats, pretty good seats too I think row 44 on the 15, anyway he looks at me 5 minutes into the 2nd at says "I'll be right back". 15 minutes later he comes back all sweaty and pale-faced. He tells me not to look in the garbage can right by the entrance and asks for my keys because he wants to go back to my car and sleep it off. I laugh, tell him to roll down the windows in my car, and give him my keys. During the rest of the game everyone around where we were sitting was laughing at him, we enjoyed ourselves. I get back to the car after the game and there's my buddy in my car, passed-out, passenger-side door opened, buckled-up so he wouldn't fall out, with a big pile of puke next to my car. I wake him up because we needed to start our 2-hour drive back to Bay City. I give him a couple empty trash-bags (which he used more than a few times) and we start our drive. Thankfully he didn't have much left to throw up. I was fine of course I was 35 and could still handle myself. Pussy couldn't even make it to game time....
Of course now-a-days I wouldn't make it either. I average 1-3 beers a week now, there's no way I could handle tailgating anymore. But with my hours 3:30 KO's do work better. _________________ 'eggo denoted me a First ballot Hall of Famer! - sandyeggo_blue wrote:

| So a buddy of mine who is a season ticket holder dropped by yesterday and asked if I might be able to put his tix for today's game to good use. Score! _________________ No man is more important than The Team. No coach is more important than The Team. The Team, The Team, The Team | |

Yeah, he generally let's me use his tickets once a season. My son and I enjoyed the game, even though it took our boys some time to get on track. Quick start, strong finish...need to work on the in between stuff now. _________________ No man is more important than The Team. No coach is more important than The Team.
