This week drives me crazy, anticipating the moo-sters getting their green asses kicked, but dreading a bad outcome. 2015 was the worst, surpassing by far the Colorado game in '94.

The thing about Colorado and a hail mary is that you realize there's a chance they could complete it and you hold your breath until it's down.
2015 was so unexpected in how it all happened it was like someone kicked me right in the balls. The breath went out of me and I slumped down in my spot.
But that shit ain't happenin' this year.

Since it's definitely not too early for predictions, I'll give mine: 27-10.
The emotion, nerves, excitement, etc. keep it close in the first half, as Nordin's leg gives us a 10-7 locker room lead, and save for one drive, where a bizarre trick play (which Lewerke executes well) gets them a TD, we keep them at bay for those 30 minutes...LJ Scott and Lewerke both stunned into silence by now by the speed and hitting power of Devin Bush Jr. and by the freedom Winovich has to Chase him down (sorry) with Rashan and Mo taking up 3-4 OL men. ("Geezus...Iowa wasn't like THIS last week!!")
In the third, we pull in front more comfortably, 20-10, with their inordinate amount of time on the field wearing down MSU's D...and as our D pitches its customary 4th-quarter shutout, we paste on a garbage-time score, thanks to a short field facilitated by a Mike McCray (that's right) INT.
Though not as much "garbage time" as the intoxicated MSU fans make for our stadium janitors afterward...

My main concern is the trash-talk from sparty. They'll be going for reactions and that may provoke some of the youth on our team to respond. I'm looking at you Devin Bush Jr.

What's your issue with Bush? He can control himself and I've seen nothing to suggest otherwise.

Don't get me wrong, I like Bush but he can be a bit of a hot-head. Questionable decision making ability. I am positive that both Coach Harbaugh and Coach Brown have addressed it as well as continue to address it but first game of the year. First defensive series of the year. I like his aggressiveness but we've got to control it better.
This is a pattern.
If he controls himself he is a tremendous asset though. He's only a Sophomore this year so that's good. But looking ahead do you think that he'll be back for 2019? I literally don't know, linemen I know. Linebackers I have no idea on.

That was a bullshit call. He plays with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind, and I like it.

I'd say he is aggressive. Very aggressive.
I would not say he is hot headed.
