Where the hell were they? Why so long to show up? This could be a lot worse, but at least we still have a game. Maybe.

Michigan Defense being shredded like cheese, Missed tackles poor coverage, and good offensive scheme making little Jimmy an Unhappy camper. PSU is for real they have quality receivers' and a mobile QB. Lucky if Michigan ends up 8-4 UHG !!!!

Serious question here, not trying to start a pissing match:

If you are so unhappy with Michigan's football program and can only find the negatives, why are you here? You have WAY more posts than me, so there must be some reason. This Michigan fan for life is trying to figure if you're a troll, a sadist, or just like to bring others misery?

To me it looks like he is able to face the truth. Why is it that everyone that questions UM must be a troll, or someone who likes to "bring misery?" I have been accused of being Sparty and a troll because I said last week exactly what happened Saturday night. The only part I missed was the substandard defense. Can tell you unequivocally that I am not an MSU fan as some have surmised. Again as I stated last week it looks like a bunch of old guys blowing sunshine up each others asses wishing for days long since gone.

Doesn't change the fact either that I get a great kick out of pointing out this crappy UM team along with the group of aged sycophants longing for days long since past. 2727 posts for real? Anything else going on in your life? Again dont get too butt hurt that this is yet another year of mediocrity with little to no promise that it will be better in future years. Wisky, PSU, OSU and MSU owning UM for the most part will continue.

hey shoes long time .... last night was tough but not unexpected... serious questions about play calling, running 15 yard patterns on 3 rd and 6 ? .... play action on 4th and 11 .... Jim needs to get rid of either Pep or Drevno , they seem to be clashing with these play calls and personnel... last night Don Brown was out coached plain and simple... having McCray on Barkley was absolutely ridiculous and putting our safeties on their go to receiver was puzzling as well ... thought 4 losses was a real possibility this year and now hopefully that’s all it is .... the D has been great but seems to be tiring which is no surprise with the lack of quality depth we had last year .... the O will continue to stutter until the Oline is up to Michigan standards of the past and we get a QB that can stand in there and make throws .... GO BLUE !!!!

fine shoes , hope you are well , just a busy few months , was down for the Air Force game and hopefully will be there for The Game ... can’t lose faith lol , most of us expected some losses this year though they are always tough to take when they happen!!!

You are lumping everyone who isn't chicken little about this team into one group. Maybe it's just many of us are more mature and rational in our thought processes. This is THE youngest team in D1 football and they're 5-2. It's realistic to expect some issues after graduating so many players to the NFL. Yet, the two of you are always negative. It can't be fun to only bitch and never realize how good we really do have it. I'm not sure if you've ever attended a game in the big house, or do actually remember some of our dominant teams from previous seasons. All I know is I've never seen much in the way of positive support from either of you. My grandma always said "If you can't say something nice, it's probably better to say nothing at all." A little more even-handed approach to posting might be refreshing for you...it sure would for the rest of us.

I think Drevno is out of his element as a play caller. He's always been a line coach. Fisch was a solid play caller, and I think had more input than Drevno did last year. JH decided to give his old friend more responsibility this season and it has back fired.

Also, I'm not a fan of Pep, and I never have been. Didn't like the hire when it was announced. Andrew Luck regressed under him during his time here in Indy. He didn't last long. Then he went to Cleveland, which is a place that coaches go to fail.

I also don't understand the Frey hire. He's a proponent of zone blocking schemes, and Drevno has always been a guy that coached man on man blocking. Seems the two would work against each other. the O-Line is a mess, especially the right side. Part of that is youth, but they are 7 games in, you would think some of that should be fixed by now.

I fully agree with Drevno's incompetency. Run-run-pass-punt is not the best sequence.

Pep I don't hate but I also don't love. I'm thinking that Coach Harbaugh wanted to get NFL experienced coaching here so he pulled the trigger on Pep. But like you said, Cleveland is where coaches go to die.

Frey I didn't have an issue with until you explained why. Now, if true (which I have no reason to doubt you), I agree with you 100%.

It feels wrong saying this but it all comes down to Coach Harbaugh. He makes the calls for who makes the calls so it's his fault. I was listening to 97.1 yesterday and Riger (who is actually a Michigan fan, of the Walmart variety) was having a conniption about Harbaugh being in his 3rd year and why isn't this fixed? People were calling up and giving reasons for the mess that we were in, some with legitimate factors but most with Walmartish BS. Riger kept saying how other coaches are winning with Freshmen and Sophomores, he even cited Johhny 'f'n" Manziel for his point. Even though he is a Michigan fan I think that Riger is an idiot. Manziel may have been a RS freshman when he won the Heisman but he had a fully-developed and highly talented OL in front of him. That helps a lot, plus Johhny wasn't that good. He had a year, a really good year but one year. Now look at him, Riger you need to go back to school.

Hoke's last full year of recruiting was a joke. The year when he got canned doesn't count because, well he sucked and got fired. Those two years were a waste, those years should be our Jrs. and Srs. now, guess what? You seriously can't count the first recruiting class against Harbaugh, he had 5 weeks! The current Freshmen and Sophomores are legitimate Harbaugh recruits.

I am not happy either but we're just not that good this year. I hate to do this because I'll sound like a 90's sparty but wait 'til next year. The line "should" be tremendously improved, we "should" have a QB in McCaffrey, our WR's "should" be much more experienced, our D will be even better and hopefully deeper thereby allowing for frequent substitutions (like in 2016).

Now this is a weird theory that I kinda have. It isn't too serious but does anyone think Nordin missed that first extra-point on purpose as a way to show Penn State that he was sorry for backing out of his commitment? Think about it, that was early in the game, only one-point, it kinda makes sense.

Yeah, that is dumb. That makes zero sense.

Personally, I think he missed because of nerves. He was getting a of of slack from the PSU faithful and he was basically at home with probably friends watching. Bound to make one nervous considering all the pressure he was under.

it was unexpected for me . No I didn't think they would win, but still hoped they would, I also expected the contest would be a little closer. I admit OKorn is a complete failure but The defense and the run game was a complete shock as for me complaining about Michigan I have been a fan for over 50 years if I can't complain with the way a team looks or plays, the I don't know who can.

Quoting John McCain would be impolite. No doubt Nordin didn't intend to do it, but stuff happens. 299/300 is not a bad average. Maybe nerves, but not from being "at  home". He never went to PSU, and is from Rockford, in the Grand Rapids area.
Also, please note my comments about the defense were made before the second half, which was bad beyond anything I could have imagined.

But he was previously committed to Pedd State.

Jay Harbaugh said that Nordin's emotions were high, he had to much adrenaline going, and his foot hit the ground and caused him to push the ball. That is more likely than he wanted to give the home crowd a token. That is just stupid.

How come the DB never look back, no wonder no INT

I play DB all be it in HS, but the #1 rule was never give the receiver inside position especially on short yardage. Yet I watch defense do it all the time.
