I'm partial to China Gate for Chinese (on South U on campus). If you just want bar food The Brown Jug (also on State St. pretty much across the street from China Gate is good). The Fleetwood diner (Ashley St.) is open 24 hours a day and is "interesting" to say the least. The food is typical diner food but they are known for their Hippie hash (http://www.annarbor.com/entertainment/food-drink/cooking-an-ann-arbor-favorite-hippie-hash-at-the-fleetwood-diner/). If Irish food is to your liking hit Conor O'Neils (downtown on Main St.), it's more of a bar than a restaurant but you'll enjoy it.
If you want a good, fast food burger screw Five Guys and come over to Ypsilanti. Got Burger on Cross St. is phenomenal, for a fast food burger. Plus it's very affordable. They're open until 1am M-W. And the of course if you're looking for a big juicy bar burger also come to Ypsi. and hit The Sidetrack (also on Cross Street but actually in Depot Town-http://sidetrackbarandgrill.com/).
