IIRC he was recruited as a LB and was told he would be given a chance at QB. remember, he was a QB in HS. I saw him play in person, doubt he would have ever suited up at QB for Michigan. He played LB in HS also and he could hit but in hindsight he had nowhere near the side-to-side speed as Bush JR.
