Since Speight is transferring and Peters is getting the start is he still considered the 2nd string QB or is he considered the starter now. Seen several schools not fare well this bowls season with back up or 2nd string QB's and hope we will not fall in to that category .

I hope this issue is settled soon because, of course, the label he carries (starter, back-up) has a 'uuuge effect on how well he plays!

Peters is the starter, at least until Fall. Speight is already gone. Of course we get the drama if Patterson will be eligible (my gut says no) or if McCaffrey will pass Peters which is still my guess. Michigan Football: we've got QB drama.
