Good on the boards, shots are falling fairly well so far. Nice D.

Win or lose, this team is good enough to beat anyone.

had to bowl tonight only caught bits and pieces . look like the boyz hung in there and made a nice effort, but who was guarding Edwards looked like nobody he went off and shooting was what killed Michigan.

Yeah, he was hitting with his eyes closed too. Just unbelievable.

There were 14 lead changes IN THE 2nd HALF ALONE!

Those 2 huge guys for Purdue are tough to deal with.

Purdue should be ranked No.1.  Or if they are only the land's 3rd-best team, I sure as hell hope we don't meet either of the two ranked above them in the Dance.  Geezus, a 7-2 center, backed up by a 7-3 one, and outside guards that hit anything they throw up there???

Unless last night's performance was an aberration, I readily see them going all the way.

To more PERTINENT business: our boys gave it one helluva try, as you all noted above.  MAAC's threes were as unconscious as the Edwards' boys' shots. And frankly, for a guy giving up 3 inches and 45 pounds (to Haas), I though Mighty Mo held his own admirably. As the saying goes, "Don't mess..."

No shame in losing to a juggernaut like the Boilers at their place by 4, when until the last few minutes, it was lead-change-after-lead-change and could have gone either way...

One other thing: despite our flurry of treys, Purdue showed how to FINISH close games: hit your friggin' FTs!!!   11-of-12 down the stretch.  Even our best FT shooter, MAAC, missed those two late. We have to clean that up in the next few weeks...

He and Z missed all of our 4 (FOUR) free throws.

Woody, I'm sure what you meant to say was "He [MAAR] and Z missed all four of the 9 FTs which we DID miss."

But I get your message. And I'm sure you and everyone on this board concurs: we MUST clean that up!
Even ONE missed FT (particularly the front end of 1-and-1's) can cost us (or any team) a close game.

just watch the replay on BTN 60 Michigan virtually lost the game from the 8 minute mark down, In that sequence the had 4 missed FT and an offensive foul. Also "Z" made some terrible decisions at that point, trying to make plays that were not there. Z seems to try to force offense when its not really there, It probably come from when in HS he was a dominate athlete and now he is just 1 of the guys.
