Great line from a certain "UnderNewManagement" in the comments section of our win last night, on MLive (in obvious reference to bench players Robinson and Poole igniting us):
"At Michigan, our players know they can go to the bench.
At MSU, they are asked to approach the bench."
Bad puns/one-liners aside, great ROAD victory last night...against an in-form opponent. As for my comment above on Duncan---well, he WAS a bench player.
But I concur with the takes of virtually every (rational) poster on this forum: the biggest factor in our 23-7 record, likely 4th seed in the Big Dance, and (now) top 15 ranking: DEE-fense.
However this season ends for us, I'm hoping Coach B makes a public visit to his hometown afterward...love the chance to meet the classiest, and arguably best, coach in college hoops.
