I wasn't sure he wouldn't slide into the second, but was glad to see him taken in the first...probably quite a good hunk of "pocket change" between the two.
Interesting that the team GM'ed by none other than our own (former player) Rob Pelinka took him. But the Lakers, playoff-WATCHERS for five seasons running now, need help from any "quarter". (I did mention 'pocket change', no?)
Meanwhile, did y'all get a kick out of the MLive column heading, "Banner night for Spartans", all because Jackson and Bridges went in the upper half of the 1st round?
