And it really isn't traditional.
I wouldn't care if I never heard 7 Nation Army ever again.
It's no longer effective. Everyone does it. EVERYONE!
Don't care if I never hear it at Michigan Stadium. If you ask me it's kind of a real lazy cheer. All you have to do is emit a guttural tone. You don't even have to hit the notes.

I know everyone "thinks" that is Michigan's song because they played it at the night game years back. The first stadium that I heard it played at was Beaver Stadium (Penn State) weeks before the game at The Big House where it was played. I have NEVER associated it with Michigan.

I remember when Ohio State fans were sitting next to me at the Big House a few years ago and they said- hey why are you playing OUR song? Since Jack White is from Michigan, I figure we have a bigger right than anyone else.
