UM isn't #1yet IMO

UM started out well as it needed to do. The offense has slowed down since then as teams have scouted them better and defended them better. PSU last night was painful at times to watch. The PSU bigs got way too many easy hoops down low. Definitely need to step it up. UM should get by Indy at home but Indy is explosive and if UM misses point blank shots like it did last night it could be in trouble.

Watching the other top 10 teams I'm not sure UM could beat Duke, Kansas, Va. Frankly MSU has been playing much better of late and if UM doesn't step it up it could get swept, god forbid. Teams like Tenn FSU VT I think UM could beat right now but they need to get better offensively and not let down defensively like they have the last 3-4 games. After Purdue they have been coasting too much.

When UM plays its best as it did v Villa and NC it can play with anyone, although I don't know how they'd stop that huge Duke kid (granted no one has) This team has the chance to be the best UM team ever, but IMO its not there yet.

No easy games on the road. In the BIG. this year. OSU giving MSU all it can handle. Hope UM can elevate back to Nova level
on the road. Although as I said at the time we beat them they aren’t very good this year. BIG looks to be deepest conf this year.

I was at the Penn State game and am going tomorrow to the IU game.

I thought the defense played very well- we only gave up something like .76 points per possession which is a very good number and a stat I like because it properly accounts for both 3 point shots made and free throws made (surrendered). The big guy for PSU had a couple of easy looks but most of his makes he had to really earn as the defense was good on him.

We definitely missed Livers usual quality 15-20 minutes.

IU will present a very different challenge. Romeo Langford is a true star. Mathews will have his work cut out guarding him.

Mathews had some issues but not as bad as they had against Mathews. He was solid all day and created a hard time for IU.

Mathews played outstanding defense.
