| I read that as well. I knew each school used a different brand based on their shoe contract company, but I didn't realize they could be that big of a difference between balls. They don't even have to be leather. Crazy. | |

| Agree, fish. I'm guessing it's not a big deal but still, it has got to be a disadvantage to the away team and in a 1 point game that could mean a difference. One would think (at least I did) that all the basketballs were the same size/material no matter who made them.
it didn't say but I'm wondering do they use the exact same ball in the big dance? | |

it didn't say but I'm wondering do they use the exact same ball in the big dance? They only use Wilson in the tourney: "Most teams use Wilson (the brand used in the NCAA Tournament) or Nike, and the variances are usually small." | |
