first half take-aways

- need to hit a 3
- need to settle down
- seton hall looks like a john beilein coached Defense
- SH has no answer for the Brooks/hunter dribble drive dump
- finally seeing real bufkin minutes and I already like what I see
- this SH team can probably beat any B1G team on any given night
- That Ike kid is a monster at the rim. time to send hunter right at him.


so much more to point out but this is a going to be a great game. This will be a game that UM will look back on and learn about themselves from because this SH team is a legit tourney team regardless of their non-ranking.

Johns Jr is a huge dis appointment , no offense poor defense. does do much at either end, and a turnover machine

- last year when hunter was on the bench I always felt like Mo or Livers or Smith or Brown or Brooks could carry the team but I still don't feel like there is a player than can carry the team while he's on the bench. Even though Brooks is still there it must be a team effort while Hunter is out.

- really need to work on the ball movement, particularly in the half court set.

- a 10 second violation is unforgivable so that was dissapointing to see. especially off of a shot clock violation.

- I think their transition play has soooo much potential. I can't wait to watch that develop over the season.

- was disappointed that Williams didn't step it up tonight and Devante Jones was terrible tonight down the stretch. Need to clean that up.

Think it's understandable that it will take awhile to jell with the new players and considering who we've had to replace. I'm not terribly concerned about last night for that reason. I do think this will be our worst 3 point shooting team in a long, long time (of course under Beilein a segment of fans always moaned that we were too 3-dependent).

Big glaring weakness last night Michigan lack of hitting 3's and their lack of defending the 3. People had some concern about free throw shooting in the end it cost them. Team has many thing to work on fortunately its early and they are young.
