UM is going to be just fine. There are hundreds of programs in college football that would kill to be in UM's shoes. UM has the history, the prestige, the coaches, the helmets, the cathedral of college football, the tradition, the factory, the facilities, the education, the alumni base, etc, etc, etc.
There are only a handful of schools that UM chases on a yearly bases and some years those schools seem light years ahead and some years UM has the talent to sit at the final table.
But if you thought it hard enough for UM to earn a seat at the final table without NIL, just wait until all of those schools have NIL funds and their rivals QBs are driving Bentleys because the rules allow it. Oh wait, that's already happening.
