I think at this point all of the chips are in the Dante Moore basket and that's just not going to happen.

Michigan really needs to figure out NIL

I can't think of a time in the last 25 years that the state has had this type of QB talent and none of them even considered Michigan.

We can not even get a legacy.

Do you seriously think this is all NIL? Right now ND might be #1 or #2 in recruiting 2 years in a row here. All NIL?

ND's recent success is due in large part because of Freeman vs Kelly.

Carr just always wanted to go to school away from home and that's unfortunate for UM because he's such a highly rated legacy at a position of need.

UM losing out on Moore will be because of NIL.

UM is going to be just fine. There are hundreds of programs in college football that would kill to be in UM's shoes. UM has the history, the prestige, the coaches, the helmets, the cathedral of college football, the tradition, the factory, the facilities, the education, the alumni base, etc, etc, etc.

There are only a handful of schools that UM chases on a yearly bases and some years those schools seem light years ahead and some years UM has the talent to sit at the final table.

But if you thought it hard enough for UM to earn a seat at the final table without NIL, just wait until all of those schools have NIL funds and their rivals QBs are driving Bentleys because the rules allow it. Oh wait, that's already happening.
