Wouldn't all maize uniforms blend in visually with an all maize crowd potentially making downfield receivers a little tougher to spot?
Backgrounds do matter. I noticed this year that on place kicks including PATs, that we change the video scoreboards to a static block M instead of showing the kick (but don't do that when the opponent is kicking). I used to watch the scoreboards on kicks to get a better viewing angle to determine if it was online, not this year.
Every little thing can be important, I hope we aren't wearing them.

I am one for tradition… maize and blue … but I admit the one change I like is all blue … Go Blue !!!!!
