It's my second favorite dating back to watch Arnie win. My favorite is the Open Championship. I love getting up pre-dawn, putting a pot of coffee on, and watching it. Then I still have the afternoon to get outside and do something.

It is a difficult thing to choose one of 3. The Open, The US Open and The Masters are hard to decide among. I think I like the Masters because it's like opening day for me.
I agree about the Open with the early morning hours. A cup of coffee and premier golf is a great combination.

Back to your comment here, Waiting until 3:00 to watch the Masters is agonizing. I mean not really but there's shit on and I sure would rater see the Masters.
In this regard The Open would be tops.
BTW have you seen the wind? I would shoot 100 out there. For the front 9.
I've actually been to a practice round there. I've never seen greens like that in my life. There is only 1 flat part of each green and it's the size of a sheet of plywood.
Anyway, I'll enjoy it when it gets on.

The wind at the Masters was definitely substantial. Saturday the guy I stayed with in Minnesota, a mutual old friend of ours, and a local friend of my buddy went golfing in Minnesota. I don't golf myself, but I still went and drove the cart while partaking in a few libations. Anyway, the wind was rather severe. Drives were pretty long when going with the wind, they didn't go far into the wind. Watching them tee off on Par 3's was interesting.... I don't think the wind was quite as severe as in Augusta though. Could have been?
