| The firings are beginning. I am very interested to see who gets plucked from the college ranks. I will be even more interested to see if it has an impact on Michigan recruiting. We already benefitted from the Bielema departure. | |

| Here is why the Lions will always be a bad joke: William Clay Ford. He doesn't care about winning. He is too loyal to losers. Wayne Fontes, Matt Millen, Jim Schwartz. I could go on. The Bears fire Lovie Smith after a winning year, because they didn't win enough, but Schwartz and Mayhew never had to worry about job security. Until WCF either sells the team or his son inherits it, they will not win. | |

| His som is now running the team. The Ford's need to sell the team but that won't happen. Ever. And even if it does it will take a lot to get past the attitude problems that are Detroiit Lions Football. _________________ 'eggo denoted me a First ballot Hall of Famer! - sandyeggo_blue wrote:

| Ferentz is to talk with KC later this week. Word is that he's been talking to them since mid season. | |

| I was shocked about that too. Must be a terrible owner in NY. | |
