This is not good for the image. Hope other recruits are taking note.

| Read this story this morning. Not sure it hurts Kiffin much. Everyone knows he's a dirtbag. I think he didn't really want this guy as badly as he originally did. | |

| Not sure how it helps. Look it is one thing to pull an offer but another to do it when the kid is walking on campus. If I am holding a USC offer I would have to question how solid it is. | |

| I never said it helps, but Kiffin will still get most of the guys he wants, because it is USC. I just don't see this hurting him too bad. He's always been a dirtbag, and he still is able to get one of the best recruiting classes year after year.
Now, if they go 7-6 again next year, that will hurt him.

| USC has had 6 verbals decommit, most over the last two weeks. Tom Lunginbill credits USC's handling of Fitts scholarship as a main reason. I guess I am saying I told you so. | |

| Wasn't the rest of this story that he used Fitts spot to get McQuay in early? I thought I read that over on MGoBlog. Pretty much everyone seems to think Kiffin is as sleazy as they come, but he also seems like a buffoon to me. Some of these things are so ham-handed. I think other coaches limit their natural sleaziness because they are afraid of bad PR, but Kiffin doesn't seem to ever consider how this is going to read in the press. Just seems dumb to me. Having players switch uniforms to deceive the opponent. Firing a student manager, claiming he went rogue and deflated the footballs for a game. Buffoonery, I tell you! | |

Yeah? Well, a slimebucket like Kiffin would no doubt de-flatus in public restaurants and in church whenever the 'spirit' moved him...
